CBT

DBT
I was certified in DBT in 2022. DBT is an evidence‑based method used in rehab and community mental health settings to help people manage cravings, reduce impulsivity, and build resilience under stress. What I teach Mindfulness — stay present and notice emotions. Distress tolerance — cope with crises without making things worse. Emotion regulation — understand and reduce intense feelings. Interpersonal effectiveness — improve communication and relationships. Clients learn acceptance and self‑compassion, replace unhelpful behaviors with practical skills, and regain stronger, more fulfilling connections with others.
EMDR
I’ve used EMDR for eight years to help clients process trauma and reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and emotional distress. EMDR uses guided eye movements, sounds, or taps to reprocess traumatic memories, and clients often report improved mood and a greater ability to enjoy life. Harm Reduction
